JASS Cruise - Day 2

Today we are off to Nassau. We didn't sign up for any excursions or anything. It's such an obscenely touristy place. I don't know if we'll even get off the boat.

And now some random JASS pictures.
For those of you who don't know, John always makes us do cheerleading like stuff for JASS. We tried to basket toss Stacey one year in a pool. It didn't work out and thankfully no one got hurt. However we have done quite a few pyramids. Here's one we took back in 2006.

And a bizarre picture from Epcot's ThinkPlace in 2005.

Here's one of Amy being shoved on her wedding "luncheon". Shoving on special occassion "luncheons" became a JASS tradition after Crazy Tammy yelled at Stacey for shoving her on her birthday luncheon.

JASS Cruise - Day 1

Decided to keep my loyal readers entertained even while I am away.  So for the next few days you will be getting some pre-written posts. Will post any and all sock pictures from the trip when I return.

Right about now, we should be on board our ship, the Monarch of the Seas. I am sure we are already causing trouble and making people hate us by being too loud. We had that problem with John, Stacey and I flew to Hawaii for Amy's wedding. "We are not even on the plane yet and people are already sick of hearing us talk."

\That was an interesting flight actually. The flight attendant gave us kids packs to color and play with to keep us busy ( and quiet). That was before Stacey accidentally goosed her. As we were disembarking in Oakland, some crazy lady pulled a bag out of the overhead bin which slammed into Stacey's head, almost giving her a concussion. Once she realized it wasn't her bag she dropped it. The bitch didn't even apologize for it either. Later we figured out why she was in such a hurry. She had to get to the terminal ASAP for ice cream.

Here's to hoping the cruise adventure is stating out concussion free!

Day 34 - Colorful Circles

Getting picked up for the airport in about 4 hours. Just finished all my packing. I am such a slacker packer. I so hope I got everything. It all fits in a carry on, which I am super happy about. I am certain I packed too much, but that's sorta normal for me.

The last JASS trip I have to talk about is Clearwater 2006. We all came over together from Orlando. We had done it the year before and had a great time. Little did we know a month later Amy would be packing up and heading to Hawaii. Anyway, our trip was full of memories, as usual. Some highlights include playing Taboo, Brunch at the St. Pete Dog Track, Me dropping the Uno cards with movie like timing after saying I was coordinated and right before a dog came out of elevator (So funny), and our Denny's waitress who was slow cause she got beat or got beat cause she was slow. However the most legendary memorable thing of the whole weekend was our trip to Z109, the gay bar attached to a 7 -11. I won't go into the gory details, but will give you some highlights. Starting with me running into a Drag King in the bathroom, the glass case of Barbies,  Stacey's Rocka with Roofies, the men in dresses who made no effort to look like drag queens, and Stacey deciding Amy was her girlfriend. It was hysterical especially since Stacey became the most unlikely drunk of the evening. Good Times.

I don't have a picture of all four of us, so you have to get two of 3 of us.

Day 33 - Navy Blue

Sorry I am so late posting today. Spent the afternoon walking around Melrose. Stopped in some shops, hit up the library and explored some new areas. It was a nice afternoon. And the weather was perfect. It's in the low 60s and sunny today. What a good aftenooon.

Onto JASS 2007. This year John, Stacey and I headed from Orlando out to Hawaii for Amy's wedding. On the way we stopped in San Fran. We made a pit stop in Vegas on the way home.  The trip itself was probably the most fun I have ever had on a vacation. Some highlights include being told we were crazy by a San Fran bum, John Spitting shake all over Stacey, The Diddiler, barely making it off the BART with our 82 bags, Seeing Amy for the first time in over a year, The Honeybees, The Muffins, John teasing Stacey's hair, Re-enacting the Crazies every morning, John and I's "Honeymoon" in Oahu, Mamma Mia, The OG, and Harrah's Piano Bar.

I actually kept a quote book from our travels. Here are some favorites.

“I’m gonna be with you guys for 12 days. Can you leave me alone for the next hour?”-Stacey
“Don’t rush me. I need to finish my 72 drinks.” -Suzanne
“Perhaps we should have an ice cream soda.”-Stacey
“Don’t be a victim!!” -Stacey to John
“This Ohana moment brought to you by….”   -John
“It’s my wedding day I don’t want to see Stacey’s boobies!”  -Amy
“I feel that was condescending.”    -All
“You got off easy. We had to busy the whore.” -Stacey and John
“Never you mind, child. Never you mind.” - Suzanne
“JASS = Just Another Shit Show”-John
“I think he likes me.” -Stacey about the stripper   “He just wants to make his car payment.”-John

Day 32 - Green Plaid

Another pair from High School. There are the same color green as the ugly uniform sweatshirts we were required to wear.

Had a really hard time finding pictures from our JASS 2008 trip. Have them all printed but couldn't find the digital ones. Ended up scanning this one in. Anyway....

Amy came in from Hawaii and me from Boston to meet up in Orlando the weekend after Thanksgiving. We spent the weekend at Disney with the Angels and Amy's parents. This picture was taken on our JASS only night out at Chevy's. Amy got a little tipsy after her one margarita. Plus we got the balloon guy to make us some fancy balloon animals. My favorite memory from that trip was Stacey making the worlds biggest mess eating an orange at Magic Kingdom. Instead of peeling it all, she peeled a piece and ate it like an apple. It was such a site to see. I can't stop laughing just thinking about it.

Day 31 - Black Plaid

Just realized how weird it looks that the plaid on these socks doesn't go all the way to the bottom. I guess no one really sees the bottom since it's hidden in my shoes.

Getting more and more excited for the JASS cruise. The four of us haven't been together since Stacey's birthday in December. I really can't wait to spend 4 days with my JASS family. So until I leave I'm dedicating my blog to JASS.

The picture below is from cocktail hour on our JASS 2009 trip to Deerfield Beach.  The picture was taken by our new friend Mrs. Livingston. Stacey and I met her in the spa lounge. She couldn't help but laugh at our Crazy Tammy conversation. We spent a lot of time at the hotel, playing games, lounging by the pool, catching up, and arguing in typical JASS fashion. Some of my favorite memories from the trip were from our bedtime game of "I'm going on a picnic", where you take turns listing items you'd take from A-Z. Highlights from the list include, Farts, Tito Jackson, Pink Panties, a Yaaaaak, and quite a few inappropriate things.  I am not sure I have ever laughed that much.

Day 30 - Gray Arglye

It's Lazy Sunday time. I know it seems odd I need/want a lazy Sunday after a week of lazy but I so do. Spent the morning finishing my library book on cats. About halfway through the other on women in service during WWII. I am really digging the library. Especially since I can look up and reserve books online! I just reserved some to pick up on Tuesday when I return these. I am so in love with the internet. It's amazing how much you can do and find online. Makes life so much easier. Having to look up things in the phone book, call,  or go to places in person to find items seems so taxing, now that I know I can do it online.

Getting more and more excited for my JASS cruise next week. We leave in only 5 days!! Wahoo!!
