I Have No Self Control

I have no ability to pass a sock display without buying something. I walked by the one at the Gap and look what happened. Four new pairs. They were on sale for $2 each. Who can beat that!?! Plus I had a $10 off certificate. But do I really don't need more socks. I'm sure you all know the answer to that one.....

Day 4 - Red Stripe

I know these are not very interesting but I am shopping for new sneakers today, so I need something with the right thickness.  Going to spend my bday coupon for DSW. I love getting free money just cause it's my birthday month! Have one for the Gap and Victoria's Secret too. Square One Mall here I come!

Day 3 - Cherries

Yeah it's Friday!!!! I can't wait for the weekend! Just thinking of two days of waking up without an alarm clock makes me so happy!!

Think these socks may have been a hand-me-down from my sister. She hates wearing socks for some reason. It's like torture for her to have to put on socks with shoes...GASP! Granted living in FL isn't really the best place for sock wearing.  All the more reason I like it up here. :)

Day 2 - Turtles

This morning's forecast made me super excited. No days above the 70s for the next 10 days. Wahoo!! I love fall! Plus it means wearing socks every day til Spring!!

Have yet to figure out the best way to photgraph my socks. Need to work on that. :)

Guess they are getting kinda old since you can see my toenail polish through them...oops

Welcome to My Blog

My entire school life I had to wear uniforms. Sometimes shorts, sometimes skirts, but always a uniform. Think that’s what got me started liking socks. It was one of the very few things you could wear to show your personality. Even in my post uniform wearing days I still find socks to be my most favorite accessory. Unfortunately most days they aren’t seen as much as they were back in school. But that’s about to change. It’s time for my socks to take center stage and people to notice them.

Ideally I’d like to go the entire year without wearing the same pair twice. I know this may sound like an impossibility but over the past 20ish years I have collected an obscene amount of socks. Athletic socks, trouser sock, knee socks, wool socks, sleeping socks, holiday socks, warm socks, cool socks, soft socks, toe socks, white socks, colored socks, etc. And I can’t wait to share them all with you!

So Welcome to my life in socks! It’s definitely a Hard Sock Life for me!
